Donated materials are subject to the same collection development guidelines we use for all materials. In general, we do not take magazines or outdated formats, such as VHS tapes.

However, we are happy to take your newer, academic titles. A subject librarian will determine if they should be added to the collection. If we decide not to add them to the collection, they will either go to our book sale, Better World Books, or be recycled. You are always more than welcome to call us and speak with the subject librarian before bringing donations to the library. This allows us to discuss the materials with you to determine if they might be a good fit for us, or for another library.
